Jerky has been a passion for Danny since the the first meat stick he had at the young age of 6. Constantly searching for the perfect jerky, he has spent years and more money than he cares to admit performing research and development. These tumultuous times led to a realization. The world needed a better jerky. While there are many good jerky brands out there, nothing seemed to stand apart. Luckily, working in the craft beer business allowed for the shared interests of jerky with Chase Schaffter. Just a simple conversation on a late (perhaps beer induced) night, the idea was born. Why not make jerky with craft beer?
